If you have a TPI motor now, You need to look for a 305/350 that is a roller cam motor with center bolt heads. I wouldn't go buy any old non roller 305/350. The one 305 on craigs list is a carb motor with a flat tapet cam, non roller. Just my .02

See thats why I made this thread, because I didn't know that rofl. Maybe i should just buy one off a dealer site or something. Seems to be too many problems with buying off craigslist.

So you know how I was going down a bad start of the year. broken hearts blah blah. I was using this, my DREAM CAR, as something to hold on to. Something that I have that I've always wanted and will never give up. The only thing keeping from breaking down and giving up.
Guess what? Someone stole it Lol. The past three months have slowly grounded me down to stumps. Then someone decided they didn't like my stumps and NUKED MY SOUL. I'm tired guys. I'm gonna go to bed. We'll see what happens if i wake up.

Some dudes with a tow truck jacked my neighbors Malibu, sitting right in front of his house in broad daylight. Fcking haters dude I swear. We had an iroc get stolen during a car club function at Dave and Busters years back, but we suspected later it was an inside job haha, but still. That sucks man, we'll keep an eye out. Keep your head up dude.

With that being said, I'm going to sell the parts I do have. I'll set up pics soon as i find the camera.
All from a 88 Iroc:
Fiberglass Headlight mount
2x headlights
2x foglights
2x Tail Lights
2x Turning signals
Rear bumper
Side and front gfx in great condition
Center Grill thingy lol
3pc ducktail spoiler w/o third light
And of course all the screws and things
Oil Filter
18" windshield wipers
2x Hatch struts
That's all I remember for now.
Just toss me some offers. I don't mind hooking it up as long as you don't feel like ripping me off. Bad year, I'm just gonna trust you guys though. I'm sure i'm willing to ship but I'd appreciate not having to.

Just that car... It was everything i wanted except running lol. Hardtop automatic 89 IROC with all the options. Man it was sexy just dreaming about what I wanted to do to it. I didn't care how much money it took as long as I got it done.

Re: Nick's 89 z28 Iroc Camaro Project Thread
Just in case you havn't already done so, there are usually several seriously well built, ready to go TPI engines on the 'For Sale' board. They sell for way cheap as usually most people want to build their own. Also, the centerbolt head engines are also the one piece main bearing engines.
Shops around my area charge $1500-$3000 to switch out these engines. Welcome to the 3rd Gen site, where you can say that you've never really changed a set of spark plugs till you've done it on an F-body! Nitro
