Can't wait to see all the 3rdGens rumble into the Crystal Springs meeting spot.
Are their any plans for a BBQ when we arrive at Natural Bridges?

Real bummer on the 3rd gen drama. Hope it works itself out.
Wish I could have made it out there myself, was so close, but looking forward to making the 5th anniversary run.
What was some of the feedback from this year and how could it be improved for next year? I didn't really see if anything was supposed to occur at the final destination.

Re: 4th Annual "Cruise to Santa Cruz"
it was a nice cruise for there being no directions it was pretty much follow the guy in front of you. After Alice's we went down toward Hwy 1 and made a left on to Hwy 1. My suggestion is there is a parking lot a few min down big enough to park the cars as a regroup spot. When we do FMCC cruises we use walkie talkies for instant response. One lead car leading the pack and one chase car as the very last car to make sure nobody is left behind and if for some reason somebody has to pull over for there own reason they have end location directions. Marvin with the black drop Iroc did a good job. A large group of people including my self got stuck behind and followed a 5th gen camaro who said he knew where he was going but took us to the wrong location. It happens but overall everybody had a good time! I cant wait till next year....
Also we have pics on FB of the event FriscoMuscle fb page thanks..

The larger the event, the more logistics are involved. It's been an area of concern over the years as the event has grown. I wasn't able to make it out this year, but those who have gone in years past know how much goes into organizing it. My vote is to elect an official to coordinate the event in the future. This thing has become larger than when I started the first cruise in 2011. If it continues to grow, like I think it will, we're going to need people to keep it organized going forward. Just my .02 cents. Hell, who knows, someday it could be like ThirdgenFest!

Oh man, I'm sorry I hadn't discovered this until now.
I live IN Santa Cruz. Moved here from Boston 2.5yrs ago, and I'm trying to figure out a way to get my 3rd gen Camaro out here. I'm going to do it anyhow, but it's really completely illegal in CA ... I'd love to meet up with like-minded people when the time comes!
I Still have trouble imagining being able to drive the car year-round

Re: 4th Annual "Cruise to Santa Cruz"
I think you're only supposed to use it in state for a certain length of time before re-registering it and it is supposed to be taken out of state annually. Or something like that. Depends if you get caught. I worked with a guy who'd brought his car from FL and kept it registered there for several years. But you never know your luck.
