OK, who's going to the track next month (or when ever later)?

in what?
I just want to keep a posting of track visits.

Too bad there isn't a smilie for tongue-in-cheek.
I'll be in the '57. The first T&T is the 17th, which I hope to make to start building a database with the new weather station and winter mods.
I'm registered for Street ET on Friday nights, Run Tuff on Saturdays, and Club Clash (when they run that instead of Street). 1st race is the 23rd, I'll be there for that (assuming the Lord don't come and the river don't rise).
Terrible weather we've been having, huh?

My car breaks down everytime I go to Sears point so I'll have race at bandimere this year, so I guess I won't see you there .
Anyway I'll probably race the bike this year but the car is a little leaky so it will have to wait. I don't know when I'll do it yet though.

Either I read it wrong, their paper/magnet calendars are wrong, or they changed it. The 10th was tech & JD test, I thought. Otherwise, I wouldn't have allowed my wife to schedule my son's birthday party that day...

The past few years, the first weekend has only been tech and JD test. This year, the 10th is "bracketed" by JD test on the 9th & 15th. I simply didn't read the thing carefully enough.
The 1st "oddball" T&T is May 4th, a "race car only" test day. Slicks required (I think DOT slicks are okay, though).

Is anyone racing at Pueblo this year, or do you agree with me that the surface of the track is lacking?

Maybe it was just a bad day the day I was there. But full tube chassis cars with 20 inch slicks weren't getting traction off the line.
One of the drivers even commented that he lost 1.6 seconds off his normal times from running at Bandimere.

Sounds like a bad day at Pueblo. Most guys I know from Bandimere that go down there have better times there. Could be their street-car-ness, though.

I've been racing with the "K" club, which was High Country Chevy until last year, when they changed their name to Heavy Metal Racing (I didn't like the change, but was out-voted). We also had some leave when a guy who runs a shop decided to sponsor a club.
Our club has always had a winter get-together to talk about the past season and what's coming for the next. It didn't happen this year, not sure what shape the club's in.
