Re: Nebraska people!
A friend of mine completely redid the car back in the mid 90's. He then joined the AF and at his first duty station sent the car back to his parents. It sat there for 10 years. Last year his dad brought it back to him...and he just didn't have any interest. So...I swooped in and picked it up for my son. I've replaced the carb with an edelbrock and replaced the headliner. It's still burning rich and I can't seem to figure it out. I know it's most likely timing...and I haven't attempted to time it.

Re: Nebraska people!
That is actually a very nice service, and reasonably priced. I paid $200 to have my windshield replaced locally (On my lifted pickup), but I had to leave my truck at the shop for a full day.

Re: Nebraska people!
Maybe you local guys can help me out with something. I have been working on my TPI project all winter and its almost there, but I still have a few bugs with the electrical system I think that either I have a bad prom in my ECU or the whole thing is bad. I did the prom myself and have a Moates adapter. Using Atmel EEprom chips with a Moates Burn 2 and correct software.
Basically when I hit the key, the main fan comes on. I am getting 5 volts and the B pin of the ALDL connector, but when I ground it there is no change on the CEL, it is just solid.

Re: Nebraska people!
Hey Nebraska people! I just moved here from Las Vegas. I sold my IROC about 5 years ago and am currently looking for another. Anyway, I just figured I would stop in and say hello.

Re: Nebraska people!
Welcome to the neighborhood. You're on base too?
A3000...that's really nice looking. TONS of potential.
I've spent the last two nights under mine replacing a couple of brake hoses. What should have been a 1 hour job turned into at least 5. Stripped bolts...stripped lines and busted brackets....all led to some tense moments sitting "indian style" on the cold concrete floor of my garage. But all is well that ends well...and I drove it in today to make sure I didn't have any weird braking problems before handing it back over to my son.

I saw that Trans Am on the way to the commissary today. It looked pretty nice but I didn't stop to check out the price on it. I've seen the one a3000 mentioned too over in the Capehart housing area.

Ahhh! If only you guys were closer! So few thirdgens around here that I roll around with the Lsx crowd. Seems thirdgen crowd around here isn't so hefty into modding or being social, just want to do their own thing.

I'll try to get some interior shots today. The inside is still not completely done, but its getting close. I'm laid up from just having some abdominal surgery so I hope to have it out for the Ice Cream Cruise.

Re: Nebraska people!
Hey guys....can anyone give me an estimated price for selling this car? My son is going away to college...and I need something that doesn't require tinkering as he's not mechanically savvy.
Thanks!!
