Big spring Thirdgen party!!!

Well, people have been posting about possible spring meetings so I guess I better let everybody know what's up with mine. As most of you know I have a big Thirdgen party every Memorial Day weekend. This year it is on Saturday, May 24th. It will probably start around 1:00. I'm in Crete, which is about 40 minutes south of Chicago. I've got over six and a half acres so I've got room for plenty of cars. I'll have a bonfire along with plenty of food and a keg. I also have one of the largest collections of used Thirdgen parts anywhere so I can probably hook you up with any parts you need while you are here. I'll post more from time to time with updates. Also, I'll set up a couple posts in April so people can RSVP and request parts. Also, if you need parts before the party let me know. I've always got plenty of stuff available!!!

I'm there, its marked on the calander. Cover charge? Bring food, or anything like that? Or is it just bring your car and something to sit on.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. As far as bringing anything or a cover charge, don't worry about it. I supply everything so all you have to do is bring your car. Even if you don't have a car...I've got a few for sale!!!

hmm....well denny you know i'll be there

whether or not i trailer my car depends on what motor is in it and how it's progressing.....well john has a trailer like i have been saying lol....it'll get there one way or another--hopefully without it being trailered we'll see.

Actually, the more I think about it, I'll probably have two black thirdgens for sale about the time of the party. In addition to the '90 Formula 350, I'll probably have a black '91 Z28 for sale. I figured I'd give people a heads up just in case somebody might be looking to buy one in the spring.

Denny has definately capitalized on us lol. Now when i see someone online or in person, it's like.....LFN AT U....he's the man. He has lots of parts. Then they're like so he's parted like 3 cars? When i tell them around 40-50 their mouths open and then they know he's got some stuff. His basement is a wish list for most of us.

Sorry, I had something to do with that. It was all about your auctions.
Btw do you happen to have any grey floor mats for a trans am. I can't find them anywhere.

Jucin, I go by the name of ThirdgenTa on CTR and CSR. And Crazy3rdGen on the MFBA. Hope to see that beast out this year.

Hey, I'm not complaining. The more people that know about me the better. Within a couple weeks I'll become even more well known. I'll be posting pictures really soon of all my stuff. I think I'll shock quite a few people. I'm thinking I might have the world's largest collection of used thirdgen parts. I always tell people I have a lot of stuff but I guess nobody really expects it to be THAT much. By the way, if you want soem really nice floormats get a set for ACC. You can get them from Summit or Classic Industries. That fit great and are an exact color match for your car.

All I really need is one passenger side floormat. All the rest of them are in good condition. All of the other floormats for my car aren't exactly like stock grey. They all have emblems on them and go for around $200.

Hey Nikki, I've been kinda busy lately and working either late night or very early in the morning so I haven't had a chance to call you but do you know if there will be room for me to ride with you? Oh and we'll have to make a stop at the liquor store for a bottle of Old No. 7 ;P

Hey FBchick (or anyone else) could you recommend a real good paint shop? That would be the next thing I'm doin'. I've never had a car painted, or know someone who has, so I could use some help here.

well m favorite is marty over at ted's auto body shop. He used to drag race a thirdgen and was the NHRA champion probably in 97-98 or so. He's a really cool guy and i'm not sure how much he would want to do it for you guys. If he won't do it then he'll definately point you in the right direction.
