Good News!
Well I finally figured out what is wrong with my camaro! Last October I dumped a ton of money replacing almost every fuel/ignition part along with a couple sensors. I got no where and decided to park it because I was pissed off! Well today I finally decided to work on it again. I decided the only thing else to do was a timing chain. Sure enough when I pulled the cover the chain had a LOT of slack in it and the dots that are supposed to line up were about half a tooth off. So I ordered the new chain and gears, harmonic balancer, and water pump. harmonic balancer was also bad. And I figured for $30 I should just change the water pump while its off. So tomorrw I should get it all put back together and have a running thirdgen again!
If all goes well I will get it cleaned up tomorrow and take some new pics of the beast!

Cool, always feels good to figure out an exact source of problem, instead of a bunch of little elusive *****

Well I got everything finished up today. Had to wait for my new harmonic balancer come in. However, no pics yet because I didn't have time to clean it up. But should have time this weekend to play with it a little more and get some updated pics.

Re: Good News!
I'm pretty sure its fixed. I was only able to drive it around the block a couple times because it doesn't have plates or insurence. So I wasn't really able to get on it. But I did get it up to about 40mph, where as before it wouldn't go over 10mph.
