There is the info, i know it says it is canceled, but we are trying to see if we can get 32 cars to prepay so they can still hold the day. This is a private rental all day, one year duronclocker ran like 26 times back to back with no wait.
DO IT.
If you are interested, they need people to commit like ASAP, you can either contact me, or sign up over there.
Uh, yeah... pretty much the same info posted by both of us I guess.

Commitment looks promising.. I will post up tomorrow when I know whether we can save it for sure or not.. and at that point I will put up a deadline when money is due.
Like I said in my thread on this topic.. I am more than willing to collect money from people separate from the MFBA to protect your money. Once there are enough people committed, I will put the money up for the track. If there are not enough people by the deadline, anyone who gives me money will get their money back, no problem.

All you new guys who haven't been out to a true rental yet. It ROCKS.
Not only do you get to see nearly 100% f-bodies running down the strip, but you get to hang out with fellow F-body guys.
$40 is a STEAL for a chance to run back to back as many times as you want. Dean did like 26 passes with only 1 break inbetween, most of them were literally a blast down the 1/4 mile, roll back to the staging lanes, stage and go again with NO wait.
If you're interested, post up. Money must be in by this weekend. Your name will NOT be added to a list until I or the MFBA has your money.
We're really pushing this because it really is a good time. Like Bill said, I had 26 passes in the one year.. Since the car wasn't heat-soaking and slowing down at all, I was just doing what he said above 8-9 times in a row until I got tired of trying to launch the car.
You'll get to see lots of cool cars, and like I said, no matter what you bring, you'll have something to run against. C'mon who wants to beat up on a stock 2.73-geared C5?

I wanna beat up on a Stock C5. But I'm gonna lose that race.
I'll be happy if it runs down the 1/4 mile, and even happier if I crack the 13's. It SHOULD be capable of that. But I won't know till I actually try.
You can PM dean for a paypall addy. or the official MFBA address -> mfba@fbody.us . If you aren't registered there, just make sure to mention your TGO user name. Make sure all payments mention they May Cordova rental.
I'll be sending my payment in on Thursday, simply because I spent WAY too much of my last paycheck getting my car working and I'm down to like $30.
rich just put that u know me and they'll take the cash....paypal to that address given. we're leaving bright and early on saturday morning if you want to caravan with me and ally and possibly a few others.

Cool.. I put you on there slim (Rich?).. I'm sure you'll trap a little higher than me with your 6-speed.. should be a pretty neat race though.
Looks like we can call this one saved guys.. we've got a few days to get only 4 more people signed up (and I'm sure there are already enough, just not on the list).
With that said, just go ahead and do what Bill said.. send the $40 to mfba@fbody.us and make sure you put Slim64 on TGO and the May Cordova rental.
No wet kit anymore.. got rid of it last weekend. Don't think I'd have put that on the vette anyways.. spraying a stock auto scares me. If it were a 6-speed though, I'd probably have kept it
i have 2.73 gears in my 9" too. so we're all on the same level
