i was hoping to get a few guys together that dont know the town has a local board... but it looks like there arent many around town that are on here

Hey I live about 20 minutes from Lafayette and i go to Purdue so I'm around all the time.

BTW who drives a dark red Trans Am GTA that lives on the left hand side of the Kossuth as you are driving towards downtown?

i have no idea. i live two blocks from there and see it just about every other day. good lookin car, i've only ever seen it move twice, though. most of the time it just sits there

when you get back up here for school, check out the local car club. im trying to get more chevy guys in. LOTS of mustangs now, but there's a good mixture of everything else. it's a completely open group that meets once a week at a local parking lot just to hang out and shoot the sh*t.

so who does good paint jobs for a reasonable price in the lafayette area? i dont care if its a guy painting cars out of his garage as long as he does a good job. im also willing to help with labor if necessary.

the local Maco does some pretty good paint jobs for a great price. a friend of mine got a car of his painted for about $500, and the thing looked like it had just rolled off the line. looked good for the year he had it, then he wrecked it. im gonna go with them for mine. if you're willing to pay a little more, there's a place off of highway 26 in lafayette by the intersection with 52. it's behind a place called "auto graphics", i believe it's called autobody and chrome, he does unbelievable work. you'll pay more, but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

I would really plan on spending at minimum $2,000 for paint and labor combined.

I'm going to go to pudue in 2010, and live about an hour from lafeyette. Go Boilers! I will bring my camaro with me to collage if possible so hopefully we can hang out.
