Shut up about this one as those cars are supposed to stay intact and complete until their ultimate junkyard fate is decided.
i'd say the vast majority of them are being parted out at junkyards. totally legal, only the motor was to be destroyed to take the car off the road. They are then to be parted out until crushed at the salvage yards discretion.

Hence my statement quoted above. He didn't say where it came from originally.
I know lots of folks picking cars apart at dealers lots and if u get caught(unlikely as it is) it could get ugly . Cars are to be disabled before ever leaving the dealer if they were a clunker candidate. Damn shame some decent cars got caught in the crossfire.
Good job on the score Bill, awesome score for the $$$$$
For now, here's a pic of the car riding on its new rubber. 16" white salad shooters. I was gonna have money to put rubber on the 17" ZR1s but this T56 was WAY too good a deal. I got these for free too.
I tried to work the clutch, pressureplate, and all the extra crap into the deal but they wouldn't bite. I might try again when I pick the trans up.
Would be nice to get all of the little stuff so all I have to do is buy the basics when it comes time.
Need to find thirdgen manual pedals so I can do the swap.
sweet deal what yard was it from? I have a cutout for the firewall you can borrow to drill the holes as a template.
And yeh the cars program sucked I had seen a few pics of typhoons and cyclones that were turned in for new POS, my 19 old honda gets better mpgs than most new stuff today someone told me to turn it in during the program wouldn't qualify for anything I would want to own like the new SS camaro or G8 gxp

Aren't there indentations for the T5 pedals already (Which is what I'm getting).
If not, sure I'll take a copy of the template.
Still need to gather things for the spring when I'll install it.
Clutch/flywheel, master/slave (working on that now), crossmember mod (or spohn swap member)....etc.
I was at U Pul It yesterday on Western and 141st and it was packed full of cars, there were about 10 thirdgens or so, but nothing that good though.
