Your combo should definately have the potential to get well into the 11's if you have it tuned well and have good traction. My car has a very similar combo except for I have a smaller cam (hyd. roller 225/230@.05 .525lift) and has gotten into the very low 12's.

Depends on tire size and what your shift point is going to be. When I used to have a 383, I had 4.10 gears and MT ET Drag 28 x 9 tires. They were actually 27.3" tall. I was shifting at 6800 rpm. A taller tire would have broght the shift point down. A shorter tire, 26" tall, would mean I would probably have to shift around 7200 rpm to get the same results. The key is to cross the finish line at or just before the shift point in high gear 1:1. The engine's shift point, gear ratio and tire size all affect how that is obtained.

My current combination of parts with 4.56 gears has me shifting at 7000+. I plan on putting 4.30 gears in this winter to bring the shift point down into the 6800 range.
