Hey guys, went up to the track friday night (test&tune).. we were delayed about 2 hours due to rain.. the track never did get TOTALLY dry cause i had SERIOUS traction issues.. i know most of the problem is that the car is 5speed with open rear and almost bald futura gsx 245 street tires.. anyway.. heres the slips and let me know if she seems a little slow or if she is running well for her age.. oh yeah, its a 92 Rs Lo3 5speed with 308 open rear TOTALLY stock with ONLY an open element air cleaner and no catalytic converter.. still on the stock muffler for *** sake.!!! lol i wieght 155lbs and from the rain issue you can imagine the humidity was unreal.. it was about 78 degrees when i ran this.. i cant think of any other stuff you need to know but if so just ask.. heres the slip

+.634 reaction (first time at track with this car)
2.401 60 ft
6.603 330 ft
10.076 1/8 et
71.30 1/8 mph

best of each catagory for the night

To get a good reaction time, launch when you see the last yellow light come on. By the time you and the car react, it will be close to .500 seconds and you should get an almost perfect light. It just takes practice and no 2 cars are the same.

Your 10.076 1/8 mile run equals 15.718 on the 1/4 mile.

Traction will always be a problem with street tires no matter how much track prep is done.

That's actually a pretty good 1/8th for stock. For reference I ran a 10.4 bone stock.
