Tc?

I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to get a torque converter with my set up. If so what stall? I was thinking of putting a 2400 in but I'm not really sure if this is something I should do? are there any disadvantages with going to a higher stall?

A higher stall converter will allow the engine to quickly reach it's higher power band. Anything is better than stock. The stall speed should match the camshaft and diff gearing.

Disadvantage is that since the engine will operate at a higher rpm more, fuel economy will decrease.

Don't forget the added tranny heat. Make sure you run a tranny cooler if you install a higher stall.
