Hi, here are my questions ;

1- When I launch on d with the pedal on the carpet, I spin my tires for about a second then I start to move when I reach about 45mph car shifts up to 2nd gear and I have another spin for about half a second. Is this normal? Spinning at 45mph?

2 - When I'm going at 120mph in 3rd gear I have to release the gas pedal a bit for the gear to shift up to 4th but after it shifts up when press the pedal it shifts down to 3rd. Is this normal tranny behaviour or my 4th gear is not holding?

3 - While I'm driving normally no matter how light I touch my gas pedal my tires spin. (I have All season toyo proxies, they are at 500miles and balanced) How can I correct this? Should I go with wider tires? (Currently my tires at stock size)

4 - Again while I'm cruising in low speeds (below 20mph) When I try to take a turn my car's rear shakes heavily even when I'm touching the pedal softly. I don't have any shaking problem when I'm over 40mph. I can take most turns over 60mph and my car doesn't slide an inch. How can I solve my shaking problem in low speeds?

Also anyone know the factory 0-60 time of my car? How's my 0-60 time with my current mods?

1 - I wouldn't launch with the pedal to the floor. I rev it up to about 2k, release the brake, and roll into the throttle. Since I have some tuning issues, I seem to get better ETs (.1s) by accellerating from idle. I think you're giving it too much gas, so you're breaking traction in 1st gear too much. Tires spinning when shifting from 1st to 2nd? You've probably got a shift kit. It's just shifting hard and fast, like it should in a race.

2 - I don't think you can be in 4th gear at WOT. As far as I know, it's normal for the tranny to downshift to 3rd when you go to WOT in 4th.

3 - Tires spinning easily? Maybe you've got the hardest hitting shift kit.

4 - When I first read this part, I thought maybe you had a locker in the rear. I don't know too much about lockers, but I'd imagine you'd have the same problem when taking corners at higher speeds. Are you sure it's the rear end? I'm wondering if your allignment is out of whack. I can feel the front end of my car walking when I'm taking sharp turns at excessively low speeds (5-10mph).

Are all the mods in your sig? How long have you had the car? If you haven't had it for too long, I'm thinking the previous owner did some mods and just didn't tell you about them.

My car had more than 1 previous owner (About 5 previous owners) I only know the owner I bought the car from and he barely knew the name of the car. I don't think my car has a shift kit cause previous owners didn't really look after the car much, when I bought my car it was barely working. It's pretty much stock other than the exhaust system. Is there an exact way to understand if I have shift kit?

How can I make my tranny hold In 4th gear WOT? Also if I have a shift kit shouldn't my tranny hold in 4th gear in WOT?

Shift kits make the gears shift hard and fast. I don't think they'll let you go WOT in 4th. I could be wrong though. I guess if you have a reason to believe the car wasn't well maintained....then I guess you got your work cut out for you. Try searching the boards using some keywords from what you're experiencing. After that, if you haven't found anything useful, ask a mod to move this to the tech/general board. You'll probably get more help there.

all you need to correct the wot no 4th gear situation is a corvette shift servo say hello to 145 mph

hmmmm Corvette servo allows 3-4 WOT upshift, is this the same one that hardens the 1-2 shift?
