NEW BEST!
Well believe it when someone says NOS is addictive.lol
Ran a 10.28 @134 with a 1.47 60ft friday night in fairly decent air.Bottle pressure was a tad low around 900PSI.
Saturday in 92 degree heat it ran a 10.29@137 with just a 1.50 60ft. Bottle pressure was staying around 1000-1050 PSI which i figure is the power difference since even the weather was worse. Also couldnt get the car to hook at all, with the extra power.I need to play around with the suspension a bit and see if 9s are obtainable.
These times are with the 150 shot.
Yep im addicted

That is good et jump for that size of a kit. What plate or fogger system are you using? And at 135 mph will put you in the 9s. You will also need a nhra lic. and cage certified to go faster than 134.99mph at least at my track its this way.Good luck with it !

The best time I ever got with my truck was when the bottle pressure was about 1100 psi. Normally it's around 900 psi. Get a proper bottle warmer and get that pressure up to 1300!
I don't use NOS in my race car. Since I try for consistancy, it's hard to get the same bottle pressure on each pass.

I would not use 1300psi bottle pressure the nitrous solenoid will not open. The best pressure will vary but I like to use 950-1000 psi the bottle pressure drop will not be as severe during your pass. If you still think you need to lean your nitrous kit down more try taking 1/2 pound of fuel pressure out I would not go bellow 5 psi.

Nice 60ft! Watch your driveshaft! lol
We deffinetly need to meet up this year season!!
You,Brutalform and maybe some others, show some people that these cars
don't have to be dead!
plus I think our cars could make some tight racing and good pics.

Great et and mph on the 150 shot. Looks like you have the mph for a high 9 already.

Man, I would love to put up an 11.76 video, but my potty mouthed daughter, who was taking the vid, sort of said somthing she should not have, so I do not want to post it. This weekend, if it does not rain, I plan on having some video, hopefully, with cleaner content.

the et was being great MPH and 1.37. Awsome time for spinning!..
My setup is jegster TQ arm -2, coil overs 150lbs 14" springs, Lakewood 90/10s
3.73 gears 28"x 10 stiffwall hoosiers.
With the th700 and super streetfighter 1.42 best natural, 1.38 spraying at
15 mph via prom activation. All on foot brake.
I with you, my best 60ft and MPH was on a pass that would not shift out of second. Then they don't prep my track.. My track I went 10.09 @ 132
1.40 60.
After talking to you about converter, swapped out mine this morning streetfighter to superstreetfighter.. same that was in it, but now at a mechanical loss of the 350s first gear.
Hope that shoudl put car right back where it was and faster..
I will blow it or hit a 9 this year..
BBC camaro went 10.08! Im cursed, hope you are not..
137 mph! thats 9.8s getrdone!

Yea id be happy with a 1.37 lol
So you tellin me my stock Gm shocks and struts just aint gonna do it anymore? dammit! I havent tried a true slick yet.I run Hoosier QTP 27x11.50s.Street car
That looser converter will definatley help,It is hard to get used to not having that 3.06 first gear tho.The car should run a bit better mid track id think since the gears are spaced so much better in the th350.Sorry you lost first gear bro,at least th350s are cheap to fix.Im sure if you bumped up to a 150 instead of the 125 shot your get your 9 sec pass.Good Luck!

to Maryland (streetcar) and it did not want to shift for me - It would shift when it hit limiter. Had trans been ok, I would have bested both N/A and N2 passes. Even in bad DA, That track hook is incredible! I matched my best et N/A even with car hitting limiter in first both passes.
That was the first time I had sprayed it also, pretty balsy to drive 5.5 to Maryland alone and spray 1st time ever on the 10 bolt! lol.
Then I come home, let the car sit all week and decided the day of a 11:00am race I would hurry up and swap my old 700 back in, went to my slippery track
and bested a 10.09 on pump gas..
There is something weird, I have tried more than a 125 and it will not respond - like not at all, everything stayed the same ET,MPH.
I went all the way up to 200, it actually lost on the 200 a little - I think it may be my selenoids are a restriction..
Fuel pressure stays good, but I have not tried a guage after the fuel seleniod
instead of before it - that would tell the story maybe.
My stock suspension did great for me until high 1.4s, on a good prepped track it would have still been good maybe, but on my track it was terrible.
I was forced to spend alot of money 3 years ago trying to make car hook..
Nothing was working. Most of it came down to my slicks, the sidewalls were shot and I was folding tire over. My wife actually got a good pic of that by accident.
We probably will hit some 9s when we meet up!

What kind of solenoids are you using? Might be time to step up to Cheater solenoids. If you are using the SuperPowershot solenoids, that come in the #05151 kit, they are good for a 175 shot, IIRC.

But I can not seem to obtain that, seems I have trans troubles again..
I may just give up! Switched to the superstreet converter, took to track and ran an impressive 11.9 with a 1.63 60ft @ 124. Seems to be slipping...
Can't complain, that trans has been through he!! in my Camaro for last 5 yrs,
N/A - N2 - Forced induction - forced induction + N2 - BBC....
Just really, really bad timing -
Ran stock 700 for years, decide to build a super 700 that breakes after 4 passes, replace with trusty stocker that breakes 2 months after, replace with old faithful 350 that broke!!!!! ahhhgggggg!
Think I am gonna buy that video from summit - how to rebuild th350..
Also have friend building 350 for the Camaro to replace the one I stole, and just bought a Red-neck (some reason that word is not allowed)Transbrake valvebody for,, little scared being it was so cheap, but they have 100% feedback and are rumored to have some affiliation with Art Carr - that scares me being they have bad customer feedback... I called them and they denied affeliation, but seemed real
suspecious acting on the phone.
I wonder if they are pushing their product through a different name due to so many quality issues..
I hear both actually are good about replacement and warranty.

Gains..So far,ive picked up almost 4mph and just a tad bit of ET but this has been in the summer heat. With the Miniram it went like 11.08 or so in cool air in the 123 area.I never sprayed with the MR.Buuut again someone that could tune probably could have me running real close to what it does with the carb.Ive only had the carb for a month and im liking it so far, most Importantly I can tune it! So you know All my FI harness and all is still in the car and ecm still runs the FP incase i get the bug to change back.
