Nice video!! dragstrip footage was filmed here at my home track Milan, MI...(almost did reconginze it with guardrails) It`s nice to be near the GM Tech center, we get to see all these cars at the local shows! I could tell you guys about a honest 650HP cadillac coming soon too!

Thanks for the posting. Very interesting. I was particularly interested in the intake system. Looks like two plenums with one on each side feeding the opposite bank of cylinders.

Gotta get me one of dem remote bottle openers.

On a serious note...
The burnouts in the parking lot are down-right irresponsible. There's a big lawsuit going down because of people killed in a similar "crowd-pleasing demonstration". That part of the sequence should be removed from the site before more idiots start copycatting.

that car is sweet, just the dbl throttle intake is enough to blow your mind.

motor-sports are dangerous. period. if they were'nt would we be so interested. the loud rumble on engines vibrating the air out of your lungs, the amazing track times. all this stuff is dangerous. no offense to anyone who has lost someone to this kind of fun but, if you stood so close to a 3000+lb car doing burn outs your going to be in danger.

Which is why it shouldn't be promoted in any way, shape, or fashion.

Shut up...Most people think racing shouldnt be promoted anyway. Hell the people that do get killed, die having fun. They are the idiots, not the driver's.

You're telling me to shut up????

Hello!

People get hurt because this stuff goes on where it shouldn't be. That's where the idiocy is.

Try telling the family left behind about the "dying happy" stuff.

That activity belongs on the track, not in parking lots or streets. This is the "Organized" racing forum, not the "people being stupid" forum.

There was plenty of other awesome stuff on the videos posted. The parking lot stuff doesn't belong.

Time to grow up and be responsible, dude.

Re: Video, Look back at Jon Moss's original Yellow Drag Camaro GM Development Project

Its all organized. He said " lets go to that parking lot over there and gather up some people and do some burnouts"...organized. Unorganized, pulling up to a stoplight and a mustang rolling up next you and you both happen to nail it.
People are stupid and get too close. Me, I step back.. Oh, and what about the starting line officials??...Its stupid people standing too close to inexperienced drivers doing crazy ****.
Starting line officials, they "know" that people on the track are "experienced" arent gonna lose on your typical burnout.
My point, its the people, NOT the situation/scene.
About telling the family about dying having fun, If I died you wouldnt wanna tell my parents that. But if you did, They would probably say "yeah, I know. He always said that stupid ****". But It would be TRUE.

Hardly the definition of "organized". Falls way short of "safe" or "sensible".

The people are the situation/scene.
