the quest for 11's

This sums up how i shaved 3 seconds from my ET over a 10 year time span while on a budget....This is with a L98 stock motor and 700R-4 tranny..
Its got a star wars theme.

Re: the quest for 11's

nice vid that car runs very well for the mods. 13.32 at 102 on motor is stout! The nitrous passes are awesome too, 13mph on a 150 shot is good stuff.

i had all the bolt ons and HSR on my L98 with stall/slicks/gears and could only do 13.2's in good air and 12.95 in best air i've seen yet...literally sealevel conditions

Re: the quest for 11's

thanks.. im putting the interior back in and a roll bar, so it will slow down a bit. Im thinking of a 200 shot and a mild stall to compensate for the weight. What surprises me most is how consistent it runs on the bottle. i had 8 passes from 11.90-12.02 on 2 bottles.. i ran 11.92 3 times!
This was really nice conditions 70F and a 15 mph tailwind. The track is about 1000 ft above sea-level

Re: the quest for 11's

i think you just need a good converter, something in the 2500-2800 range and let it rip! that will cut your 60 foot WAY down and you'll be very deep into the 11's zone
