whats the cam specs? what pistons? what comp ratio? if the motor isnt matched it could be a terd but if everything is put together right and matches she could fly

Re: ? about 1/4 mile time
the pistons are 11to1 dome pistons with 202 heads a holley 650 double pump carb . i believe the cam is the 290 cam ''lopey idle'' with a 2000 stall converter backed up with a 12 bolt rear end with 411 gears. the motor had over 325 horse power before all the work was done on it. I was just looking to see what it would run in the quarter mile i know when i tap on the gass it wants to lift the front end . so i know the power is their. what size tires can i fit on the back for traction? the guy i bought the car from said the motor had over 430 horsepower. which isnt hard to get with the 70 and 71 350 4 bolts. ? let me know what u think
I know iam gonna get bad gas mileage but who cares. iam driving one bad *** third gen lol.

You prolly got crap heads, and that stall is just about at the stock level...
Mid to high 13s but it's impossible to guess really...

that converter is stalled way to low for your combo. Maybe in the 3000-3500 would be much better. Let us know what time you run at the track
