FINALLY!!! made it to the track.

bought my car a year ago and took It apart and put it back together and went to the track and had a blast. first pass I guess I had to much water in the motor and it pushed some out the overflow. got that figured out put back together. made a few more but I couldn get my transimission into high gear. I just had this glide rebuilt. talked to the builder this morning he thinks it needs to be readjusted. any way I made me a new list to fix but that's what its about.

my best pass was a 12.44 without shifting. 1.70 60ft. basically I ran it up to 5600 tried to shift it wouldn so I let off and got back in it and run it back to 5600 and coasted thru the traps. I did have some tire spin on the line but I think I can clear that up by going down a hole on the lcarbs. I was hoping for a 12.0 in this car with 3.23 10 bolt and if it holds together and I can get it to shift I think I will be there soon.

What were the 1/8th mile numbers? Multiply that by 1.53 will be close to the 1/4 mile numbers. Sounds quick!!

Re: FINALLY!!! made it to the track.

I had some 7.50 eighth mile but my shift was well before half track so I know I have some to gain there. it will probably be a month or so before I get my list of stuff done to go back. I had a blast driving it especially being my first time ever on the track
