Father in law passed away. Wife inherited his 86 trans am street legal drag car. I did not know him well. So i have limited information. Was told had bad rod. Mechanic says nope engine sound. What i learned have receipts. 99 chevy 350 325-350 hp build. Probably performer cam. Not sure of how much cam that is. 2014 new transmission with put looking 2r400? Sound right? With stall converter and scatter shield. Mechanics says locker rear end spools up nice. Headers brand new exhaust its big. Has a catalytic converter. Quadrajet carb. Needs paint one fender replaced uh ya have that. Spoiler new needs installed. B&M ratchet shifter? Runs good sounds nice. Wiring harness a mess. Interior well its as bad as the paint.
Well here i am with a rat rod. So please if you live near pdx and know people or places to help say hi. Think my wife wants to get it cleaned up.
How do i talk her out of green???? Its Red. Anyhow new to this.
