BACKGROUND:
I just acquired a totaled (rear-ended) 1990 Formula (LO3, auto) with a perfectly fine motor, tranny, & rear. The car also came with suspension and performance upgrades, many never installed and still in original packaging. Here’s a list of the first few things available. Many more parts will be available shortly … feel free to ask about anything.

Located in Central NJ.

Brand new (refurbished) motor with approx. 16,000 miles on it (and 1 year remaining warranty), Automatic tranny fluids flushed 8/4/05, and rebuilt 3.42 open drum brake rear end are going to be for sale eventually, but are staying intact for now so I can drive the car if need be.

Paint-it-Black - Asking $200 for the carpet. It's in excellent shape. I have the rear section out, and just need to remove the front seats to get out the front section. As long as it doesn't start raining again, I can get the front section out whenever. Where are you located? PM me and maybe we can set something up.

91RamAir Formula -- I am asking $200 because these are, in fact, $195 from Spohn, but were powdercoated silver for an additional $45. Total cost for these SFC's was $240 + shipping charges. I only removed them from the packaging to snap pictures. They are still in BRAND NEW CONDITION

cejohns -- At this point, I am not ready to remove the motor/tranny. I'd like to keep the car drivable, incase I need to move it. However, money talks. Shoot me an offer that'll make me want to sell.

ZZ4 86 Z28 - As far as I know, the tranny is stock. Only thing going for it is that the fluids were all flushed about 2 months ago (a couple weeks before the accident). The odometer reads 205,xxx miles, and I'm fairly certain that the tranny has seen all of them - pretty much deeming it worthless. However, it does shift very smoothly, and runs great.

Are you local, as to where you can come see it in person? The car is currently still drivable.

I need a few stupid things I'm having a little trouble finding. I need the little plastic screw cover caps that are found in the door panel right by the door handle. They are rectangular about 1"x1.5". I also need the driver side pwr locks switch if the rear tabs aren't broken.

How much are you looking to spend on a formula hood? I might be able to get you one, but it won't be cheap.

walrus108 - I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the "little plastic screw cover caps that are found in the door panel right by the door handle". Are you talking about the filler panels next to the power locks switch. I'd say they were 1.5in x 3 in. though.

I have the driver side pwr locks switch you asked about. I'll get you a pic asap. How's $10 shipped?

kenbob - The carpets are black and in perfect condition. Not too sure about the heater core, since I just bought the car. I think I remember the guy saying it had a new heater core, but I cannot guarantee that, and therefore can't sell it right now.

The screw covers are right by the door handle and by that I mean the handle that actually opens the door from the inside. They are either right next to in front or behind the handle and they are just like plastic covers with the firebird engraved into them. They are like 1.5"x1" and if you pop them off carefully with a flat screwdriver there is a door panel screw hiding underneath. Mine is an 89 GTA so maybe formulas don't have these. If you have these also let me know. Your deal on the switch would be alright but i prob won't bother if you don't have the covers also. Thanks for your reply. If you want I could email you a pic of just what I'm talking about.

Pictures will be a big help. I'll check the car when I go out for lunch this afternoon. I don't recall seeing any firebird logos in the interior of my car, but maybe I was just wan't looking for them, lol. I am assuming your GTA has an upgraded interior though.

The power lock switch really would be no bother. If you still want it, just let me know.

Doward - The car was a Formula, ie. no ground effects. Unless you mean the plastic pieces that are under the nose, inwhich I have them. LMK. The hatch motor was destroyed with the impact. It was a brand new TDS unit, but is no longer in one piece.
