Same here I love them, just wish I had my A-Arms powdercoated when they were out for the bushings.

Re: Delrin Bushings
Put a lil motor oil on the poly pivit points. It works better than their sticky binding grease..

Re: Delrin Bushings
Just put it on the parts that touch when they move, poly and metal. It may take some driving and a few times to get it all in there.

Re: Delrin Bushings
Bushings for stock A arms or rear control arms normally don't have grease zerks.

Re: Delrin Bushings
People like delrin because:
It is self lubricating (no lube, no mess, no maintenance)
It is silent
Articulates very smoothly, no binding

Re: Delrin Bushings
Any thoughts on the AFCO Light Weight Bushings P/N 20077LW & 20069LW? They have the Delrin core, the only difference is the steel housing (as opposed to the aluminum GW version) and they're less expensive.

Which he stated in a earlier post, that his are a early set without zerks.
Those AFCOs look nice, a lot of friends use them in race cars..

Re: Delrin Bushings
While poking around the Googles, I saw a remark to the effect that the Delrin bushings, while making for "tighter" ride, also make for a harsher ride. Not all of us are driving our Camaro's primarily as racers. Anybody with actual experience have an opinion on whether the Delrin bushings made the ride more harsh? Anybody wish that they had just use the rubber-dampened bushings to maintain a more civil ride?

Re: Delrin Bushings
Certainly the choice of shock absorber will have a greater impact on the ride quality than the Delrin bushings.

Re: Delrin Bushings
I used the supplied grease when I had them in my car and they squeeked when it was cold out.
After fighting with them for a few years, I completly took them apart, used anti-seize and a bit of motor oil on everything, bam, no squeeks ever again.

Worth a shot if you're curious? I don't see why not. I still opted for MOOG standard bushings, though. Played it safe, I guess.

Re: Delrin Bushings
I just found some polyurethane bushings (brand new still in the packaging) from way back when (around 1995).....do I run 'em or spend the $ on delrin?

Re: Delrin Bushings
I want to grease up bushes every time I change engine oil in order to prevent their early wear out, so grease fittings are a must for me.

Re: Delrin Bushings
Depends... is it worth $140 to you? Because I spent $13 on my MOOG replacements (RockAuto), and I'm more than happy with those. Why spend the money if you already purchased a set of poly bushings that will work? It'd be one thing if it were cheap, but $140 is nowhere near the "cheap" spectrum.

Re: Delrin Bushings
Thank you for your 2 pennies and I can agree with you in regards to budget builds, with all due respect, the thread/my question isn't about cost savings. I would like to know if people prefer the delrin over polyurethane or if the end result is pretty much the same? I am willing to spend the $ if there is a difference from a handling perspective. I've never used poly control arms bushings but I have used the GW setup on other cars.

FWIW: I actually don't have a budget build, and I still went with stock replacements because I happen to have poly and/or rod ends on the rest of the car and I'd rather not make the whole car stiff as a board. Haha. That was more my motivation over the cost hike, honestly.
