what will happen??
im planing on getting my rear end gear ratio changed to 3.73!! do i have to calibrate my speedo right away, if not will my transmisson shift early or later. or will it even get affected. its an 89 camaro 305 tbi with a auto 700r4 trans. thanks guys

Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi with spacer
Your speedo will be off about 37% 3.73/2.73=1.366. So if your speedo reads 60mph your really on going 43 mph. To do 60mph your speedo will need to read 82mph.

Your speedo will be out of whack by a lot though... but it shouldn't effect your tranny.
