Re: INFL REST???
INFL(ATION) REST(RAINT) or AIR BAG
As for the fix, well depends on whats wrong. If the stearing wheel was off the little sping may need rewound the corect number of turns. Or a sensor could be the problem.

Re: INFL REST???
There is more than one, the one in the stearing wheel is a restance spring, needs turned so many times (I don't have a camaro book, chiltion) so I can't give you a number it's like 1 1/2 turns. As for the rest, all air bag wires have a yellow sleve over the wires. There are sensors in the front bumper area.
If you don't have a book get one, you have to unhook the battery before working on system. The air bag can be deployed by shorting the wires..(BAD...BAD...BAD). If anyone else wants to chime in....

The wires to my Air Bag (Yellow sleaved) have all been cut from behind it. I would try to slice those wires back but i dont need that thing going off one day. on accident or something. Is there a way of getting a replacement wire anywhere? I reallly dont like the infl rest light going off either.
