I had the commander 950 on my roots 142 blower on my 383;
For TBI the commander is more than enough control, and its super easy to use. Accel just isnt worth the $$ when for $1200 you can have a complete COMPLETE everything you need TBI setup including throttle body and injectors for your blower.
that to me, is a good deal.
With a 700R4, 3.42 gears, and some 10-12 hours of tuning it made 440 RWHP and got 19 MPG highway.

I already have the accel system so just need a blower and tb. I just like to play and thought a blown FI car would be a fun project.

then your halfway there. just add a pretty 142 blower from weiand, go through summit see if they can give the usual 10% off.
then slap a 2barmap on that thing, and tune.

I'm planning on Gen7 DFI and a D1 in the near future. Just sold off the carb'd setup to offset the cost of the Accel unit. After talking w/ my engine builder for our Pro-mod (Pat Musi) the only system on the market worth a crap is the GEN7
