Which Fuel injection setup is best?
I have a 406 small block hanging on the engine stand. I am going to supercharge it. I am leaning towards a set of AFR 220 heads. I haven't decided on which supercharger to use, but my biggest concern is what fuel injection setup to use. Accel Super ram, Holley Stealth ram, TPIS Mini ram? I am looking for some feedback. I've done a little bit of homework on these and they all have their goods and bads, I want some real world feedback.

I am going with a victor efi. with a adapter like I made for my Typhoon. and a round throttle body.
I have reached the flow limit of the stealth ram.
There is not enough material to port and is not worth the time to weld up then port.
plus the plenum design on high flow is a little bit challenged. If you plan on making less than 850 at the crank go for it.
It also will not work with those 220 heads either.
My $.30
And a Accel DFIV7

Wow, nothing like keeping me on the fence! I really like the look of the HSR (and it's cost), but the TPIS shop is within an hour drive and it's my understanding that they have a chassis dyno where they could even set me up. I talked with a guy who was running a Bill Mitchell short block with a set of 220's and a TPIS Mini Ram (no power adder) and he said he couldn't be happier.
My car is 95% a street car. Maybe the 220's might be a bit too much? I was hoping for a minimum of 600 HP at the rear wheels. I've had this crazy dream of being able to break the tires loose on the freeway.
Am I asking for too much?

I am sure that Bill mitchell /220 heads/mini ram is not making 600 to the wheels on pump gas.
What computer are they recomending?
600 to the wheels on pump gas with 14lbs of boost on a 355/383 has been done by me and my buddy easily.
He has a 383/195 afrs reg ports/D1-SC/ hydraulic roller it makes 575 to the wheels at 5800 thru a 4L80E with a 11" converter!
I have a 355/210 reg ports/solid roller/14lbs of D-1. Mine is set up for street racing (but is still driven on the street) and makes 650 to the wheels.
Both cars have full exhaust including tailpipes. Bob Z's monte even has 2 bullet mufflers in front of the reg mufflers.

If I remember correctly, he said he was making around 525 hp. I think it was at the flywheel. I was replying to the comment of the 220 heads being too big for the street. I don't know what he was using for a computer, but he was happy with his setup.
You are correct, it's only money away, but I've got the motor I want, I just want to make sure that the money I invest in it will work together well, along with keeping a HUGE smile on my face all summer long.
Anyone else know what they're getting for HP at the wheels?
