Nitrous add to Blower car?

Anyone ever add nitrous ON TOP OF their supercharger? I'm not thinking something huge like a 200 shot but smaller ones like 50-100. If not even that big, maybe a really small shot like a Sneeky Pete system. I've heard that nitrous and blowers don't mix and also that nitrous is a good "intercooler" for blower cars. Has anyone sucessfully added nitrous with boost? My car has a built 383 TPI 4-bolt main motor with a Vortech blower pushing 12 psi of boost to forged pistons, GMPP cast rods and an Eagle cast crank. It's DIY tuned pretty good and has plenty of passes and thousands of miles on it. I'm not to worried about if i blow my motor because i need a reason to build a complete forged bottom end. I would just like a few more car lengths at the end of the quarter.

Not a problem to run nitrous and boost. Keep in mind fuel delivery is critical and stock type systems arent up for the task. You will effectively gain more power than what your nitrous pill was originally specified for because of the intercooling effect. It's a good thing.

I'm in the middle of installing an old nos 5151 on my Z. I have 9psi and thougth, what the heck? Now, everyone will tell you ghost stories about nos and boost...stupidity Nitrous has some variables such as making sure you have good soleniods, the right fuel nitrous mixture..ect. If you have a proper tune, running the two can be awsome. I would not adivse running the two without forged internals since any lean conditions can lead to BBOOOOOOMMM and your rebuilding that engine. Forged internals are just better insurance against such mishaps. My Vett had the nitrous soleniod go bad and dumped a crap load of no2 into the engine with no fuel......KA BOOOM. Good thing I had forged internals! I did warp a head and burned a valve, but that was it! Anyway, if your engine is stock, a 50 shot should be ok, if you have a good tune and not too much boost (nothing over 10). Should be interesting to see others thoughts on this.
