Where to buy?
I'm looking to get a replacement for the acordian looking thing on my intake, because to me it looks like with boost it would expand quite a bit, and i notice everyone else has a replacement one.
I think i know what its called but i'm not sure so i'm not even gonna try to spell it and add to my confusion...lol
Thanks
Trey

UNDER BOOST WITH WHAT??????
Supercharger kits come with them.... If you made a turbo or supercharger setup you have to FAB one..
If its POST turbo/supercharger its called a discharge tube.. If its just routed to a filter its referred to as an intake pipe..

I know what your talking about...But what Im saying is>>Say you go out today and buy a vortec supercharger kit... You take that entire assembly pictured and throw it out... the KIT comes with new tubing and silicone connections...NONE of whats pictured is used...
Only way a supercharger will not come with it is IF you buy the compressor only ad are tring to fab your own brackets and what not... In that case you could buy ovalized tubing OR a piece of Silicone transition tubing to make it work...Sorry I doint have pics... Im sure someone does though..

Thanks for the reply, i got it used and the guy who had it before me used it on a carberator, so i have most of the tubing i need. Just not the piece that could go on there, so i was wondering if there was just another piece GM made like that except without the acordian effect.
Thanks again,
Trey

You can call vortech or ati and just buy the discharge tube...Heck Ill check when I get home...I think I might have an old discharge tube laying around...Although if I still have it the thing would have a bov flange welded on it... Im like 50% sure I have one of these somewhere at my shop...
