Compatability question????
I've read and didn't see this answered. If it has been answered and I overlooked it please point me in the right direction. I'm wondering if a 4th gen rearmount turbo system can fit our thirdgens with slight modifications? I'm about to do a ls swap and want to keep a/c so that's the reason I'm considering the rmt. Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Compatability question????
i don't see why not. i have to add though, one very important factor for an effective/efficient turbo setup is allowing as little exhaust heat as possible to dissipate before it reaches the turbo. by the time the exhaust gases reach the rear of the car it has lost much of its heat and velocity.

Re: Compatability question????
this can be fixed by using sized turbos and wrapping/coating the exaust all the way back!

Re: Compatability question????
only thing id "worry" about is keeping it feed with clean air [a filter under a car will get dirty fast] and making sure the oil was plumbed to it well and flowed right all the time. But Im sure they thought of that too.

Re: Compatability question????
the sts kits from what ir ead the filter they use is just a K&n but seems to work fine the oil problem is where everyone seems to have the problems with rear mounts with the pumps going out but im sure that could be fixed easy with a seperate tank for oil in the rear instead of having to run it carlengths
