ThirdGen.org is the subject of my Presentation

Hello all. It's been quite a while since I have searched this website. But I just wanted to let all of you know, that I have used this website as one of my final presentations during my I.T. College course. I would love to be able to upload my presentation, but it is not a supported file extension, as it is a Powerpoint file.

But I would still like to share the final few paragraphs of my presentation:

"In this presentation I have used something I am very familiar with, The 1982-92 GM F-Body line of cars. Actually for every car and truck, I have bought over the years since 2002, I have always done research on that particular vehicle. I do web searches before and after buying the vehicle. It is something, I feel, that everyone should do. You need to know the ins & outs of your purchase. Was that year a good year for that model? Did that model have any recalls? And now today, there is a website called Carfax. Carfax is a paid website, but it is very handy when it comes to buying a vehicle after, I think 2005. Carfax will let you know all about that car, by entering the Vehicle Identification Number (V.I.N.). From accidents to title issues from that state, or if it came from another state/country.

When starting a new search for what I want or have, I always start with the basic. For example, on my pick-up truck, I started the search by entering on Google “Dodge Ram Forums”. If it loads up a whole slew of websites, I try to break it down to model years. For my truck, the years are 1994-2001 for the 1500 line (the 2500 & 3500 of Dodge Ram went one extra year, 2002), because 2001 was the last year for that body style. As it stands, the website that I use for information on my truck is: www.ramforum.com. It is similar to www.thirdgen.org but the difference is that ramforum is for all 4 generations of the Ram Pick-up Truck.

The 3rd Gen website started out as a relatively small website, when I joined in 2002, to something huge today. I do not presently own a 3rd Gen Camaro, so I hardly visit the site anymore. But www.thirdgen.org is the basis on what a vehicle forum board should be. As for the credibility of the site, I can safely say that thirdgen is ran by not only the original publisher of the site, but also the members. The members are what drive this site to the great information that is on there today. The majority of the information, is of course, is from the files of General Motors. But the flow and design is from the members. As a member, I am very proud of what this site has become, and I hope that I can one day own another 3rd Gen Camaro.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the Administrator, Moderators & Members of www.thirdgen.org. Without them, I would have not learned as much as I have about the 82-92 F-Body. Thank you for running such a great, informative website."

There you have it, the last few paragraphs of my presentation. The presentation itself will be contained to only myself and my instructor. None of it will be used for anything else than my term subject. The Powerpoint file is locked, and therefor can not be edited, or used elsewhere.
