i have a 92 rs 305 t-5.with drum brakes..im putting a rear from an 87 z28 with disc brakes in it and am confused about the making of the brakes work....do i need a differant master cyl and proportioning valve some have said yes but i know you guys will know..and if so can i use any or all of these parts from the doner car....thanks

You should use a 4 wheel disc valve, keep the disc/drum master.

you mean keep my master cyl that i have on my car now with the drum brakes?will the pv off the 87 bolt up to my master cyl?

the proportioning valve will bolt up without a problem. It would be a safe bet to grab the prop vavle bracket and hard lines also, just so you know their won't be any fitment issues.

i'm in the process of doing this work myself, what needs to be modified on the back end of the car to get the brake lines routed?

The hard lines on the axle are the same for both brakes. Converting from drums, you will need to fab a coupler to go from the hard line to the rubber line. I would purchase new rubber lines just to make sure that isn't the weak link and you should be in business.
