Modify GTA front
Hi
Thinking of modify my GTA fron so I will get more air to the IC/rad. I have ssen some photos where they have cut a big hole in the middle. But I'm thinking It may look better with somthing in the lower area, between the fog lights?
Something inspired by a C6 or new camaro?

Re: Modify GTA front
I think that you'd have to follow the original body lines to some extent...
I like the opening on the bottom between the 2 fog lamps #7.
The other openings in #4 are just too big..... and in your face....
But what matters more form or function?

Re: Modify GTA front
It recently picked up an 85' TA and the front was already cut. I orginally thought of replacing the front end, but the look has grown on me and I'm gonna keep it, just need to replace the grill material with something better.

Re: Modify GTA front
update with pictures when you have replaced the "net" with something else.....
Doesnt look to bad
the black GTA (polly) with the cutout in the middle also looks good, but not sure how good it would look on a red car............
I'm too gonna get a cowl hood

I like that, but I'd use rectangular fog light not round ones, to go with the square body lines. Could just relocate the stock fog lights up.

Definitely post some progress pics as you do this in the fabrication section. I'm doing something a little different with my camaro front but would definitely like to see how others tackle some of the similar ideas.

Re: Modify GTA front
well im sorry if this is a dead thread, but i startede my own thread with an idea i had but no one responded=(, anyways i had an idea between the transformers camaro/grand am and the trans am front end, i played around with deleteing the popups with it, a ram air vent thing and a cowl hood but you can ignore those and since im no good at photoshop and lack the photoshop equiptment i drew it on paper (OLDSCHOOL)

Hey Tyler. I like the looks of the concept drawing. something about it reminds me of a late 80's Supra.
