Roadmaster engine corporation?

Long story short--the engine in my wife's '92 S-10 4-door blazer needs replacing (VIN W, CPI 4.3 V-6). I don't have the time, tools, or place to do it myself (I live in an apartment), or I would. A very reputable shop here in Houston quoted me a price of about $4000 to replace the engine with a Jasper engine(very reputable), warrantied for 3 yrs/75K miles. After gasping in shock for breath, I looked around with some help, and found a place here called Roadmaster engine corporation. They quoted a price of $1800 for a rebuilt long block INSTALLED with a 3yr/ 50K mi warranty. Does anyone here know anything about Roadmaster? Are their engines junk? Is there fine print which drives up the price of this install? Any advice appreciated....oh, and if any of you would like for me to hire you to help me install a new engine at your place with your tools, let me know your price. I have some tools and experience with turning a wrench (I've installed a couple of engines myself). For $4000, I could put in a mean V-8 (something I was going to do anyways when our financial situation improves)!
