Looking for experienced PROM programmer in Austin

Hey guys I just wanted to give a shout out and say hi to all the locals that browse these forums.

On the other hand I have some questions and issues with the chip programming for my car. I have a 350 L98 block that came with an automatic and put a t5 in shortly after getting the car. Soon after that I bought all the required hardware and software for burning my own chips. Only problem is, im a complete idiot when it comes to tuning this stuff, so I am posting here to see if anyone in the local area would mind showing me a few things and explaining how I can get rid of some of the problems I'm having with the computer. mostly idle (iac programming) and rough cruising at low rpm/speed. Plus i know something is not right with the spark tables or something because the car looses its pull in certain areas of RPM sometimes. I have dont the basic changes, attempted to get the BLMs right, it just needs someone with more experience to point it in the right direction

edit: Also get idle surge here and there

actually, no I didnt find anyone to help. Leander isnt that far from me, maybe 30-45 minutes i would guess. Do you know much about PROM burning, I have all the equipment. I'm starting to pickup a little on this, been reading the forums for about 2 months, but after awhile my brain goes numb and I can't keep retaining info on this stuff

Now that the weather is changin, the car is getting worse, i mean it still runs, and has great low end torque, but I was driving to the gas station the other day and heard detination, plus the idle is getting a little more off and the exhaust makes some nasty popping everyone in awhile when I down shift.

I'm thinking about starting all over again and using the AXXD image this time and just cutting and pasting some stuff like Kat mentioned in the DYI PROM area.....any ideas?

check out the forum's at austin-f-body.org there are a few ppl there who burn chips and could help you out a lot better then me. i dont know all that much about burning chips.

and i wont need to adjust my chip any more so never mind that.

as for your idle surging, lower the IAC counts a little.
