Speed/Performance shops in Houston?
Hey do you guys know of any good Speed/ Performance shops in Houston?
I used to go to 3D Performance off of 45N near Spring. They used to work alot with 3rd and 4th Gen Camaros.
They are closed down now.
They used to give real good tips and advice and stocked all kinds of parts.
So I'm just looking around for another one.
I know Competition Sales is off of 45N.
But those guys aren't too friendly and not into Camaros as much as 3D!
Thanks

Yea, ever since Nolan died, I quit going to Comp Sales.
There's a place on I-10 , (I think it's called Racenet - formerly known as internet racer's supply). They are only open M-F / 8-5 though.
I'm not sure if Mike's pump and speed is still open, but you can try there too.

CXI (aka - Conversion Extras) - Only had 1 experience with them. Went to a dyno day and watched the extremely unprofessional crew. All smoking cigarettes while they messed with the cars. I don't have anything against smokers, but I'm not going to let someone climb around my car with a stick in their mouth - but I'm **** like that. Also, they (CXI) did an LT1-S10 swap for a guy and welded the intake tube to the frame . Just got a bad vibe, so take that for what its worth.
IRS: Where to start...
My friend took his '00 Z28 for a shift kit. they took it off the lift 3 times before they fixed it - it wouldn't shift the first two times they tried to tell my friend it was ready.
I called to schedule a clutch install. Dropped the car off. IRS called me 4 hours later and informed me that they didn't have the clutch in stock.
These were speed bumps in the road to doing things yourself .
