TPI setup, what is easier?
Hey guys, I still have this TBI and I want all of your opinions...
What would be the easiest to do right now?
A while back I almost made the choice of going to the LT1 intake swap, because I was having a hard time finding a TPI intake for cheap. I always hated the thought of having a remote thermostat housing. But recently I found a nice guy who traded me his TPI 87 MAF corvette intake for my 94 LT1 intake. This is with everything, the intake, TB, MAF sensor, fuel rails & injectors. It will be going on the 305 with some TPI heads 416s or 601s...
I heard it's pretty easy to convert my TBI to MAP SD with a little splicing and repinning and new ECM and Prom.
Well the TPI is a MAF, so what would you do?
Buy a cheap MAF harness and swap it in, or repinn and convert the TPI to SD MAP? Is there a part number for this kit?
Thanks,
