Just a little note about that black '92 Z28 in Houston that is listed on autotrader.com. I drove from Waco to Houston with my money prepared to buy it several months ago (he wanted about a grand more for it back then). It is a B4C with aluminum heads (probably the vette heads I think the 350 B4Cs got that year) and some nice coated Hooker headers. But that's about all the good I have to say about it. It doesn't have 98k miles on it as advertised, but 198k miles. He previously had it listed with leather int., but doesn't have it, and the driver's side seat is torn. Numerous interior panels were just hanging, like they didn't care about putting the screws back in. Paint chipping, cracking on rear bumper. It looked like a V6 muffler on it (factory w/ single exit) and it was not bolted up tight, just hanging down almost scraping the ground. Radiator was wired in with baling wire. The guy wouldn't even come outside to look at it with me and when I wanted to negotiate price, he just said 'Thanks for coming, have a nice drive.'

That is really bad. This guy sounds like one of these guys who have a way overinflated value of these cars. I ran into one like that when I was looking for a car in Houston. It was a pretty nice 91 RS and he wanted 8 grand!. I offered him 6 and he was interested but then talked to his wife and she nixxed it, no less than 8. At 6000 it wouldn't even have been that good of a deal. He actually told the the car was a "babe magnet". I watched it still for sale for a couple of months and then lost interest.

Wake up people!

I am selling my Camaro for 3.5K. Runs excellent.

Here are some stats:

305 TBI
LT1 Cam
New Brakes
New M/C
Recent tuneup (CTS, Plugs, Cap, Rotor, PVC)
AC works, not the coldest like all thirdgens, but its been cold for 3 years now. No leaks.

Here is a list of what I know is currently wrong with it.
Dome light not working (I have replacement)
Third brake lights out (I have replacements)
Speedo not working (Probabally needs new cable)
Tach not working properly (No idea why its not working, reads VERY high all the time)
Random CTS low SEC light (No idea why, I replaced CTS)
Transmission will not shift into park (I think Oreilly gave me a short cable, i've been using the ebrake fine, and the rest of the tranny is fine)
Side GFX scratched up, front GFX scratched pretty bad, dent in passanger fender.

Thats about it. Truthfully, its really not that bad and all the problems are pretty minor. My roomate is currently driving it free of charge from me. Its tough to keep up with it when you have conflicting schedules. She is getting a new car in a week (finalising papers). MY plans were to daily drive it and fix most of the little issues before I sell it. I have a friend of mine that is really interested in buying it here pretty soon.

Did not know U also had a Camaro as well as the bird!

For 3.5K--that's pretty good price--car looks real nice--and the fact that U list what is wrong and needs attention is a "breath of fresh air" in this day and age!
