OK--We are gonna have 2 contests, besides all the other stuff going on at the 2006 Spring Fling.

First will be the "GUESS HOW MANY THIRDGENS WILL SHOW UP" contest. Here's how it works--Just what it sounds like--guess how many thirdgen cars (not people) will show up at the 2006Spring Fling -Those that choose to participate, throw a dollar in the hat--U will post your guess here in this thread (I will keep an updated list here in this thread)--person guessing the closest to the correct number of cars wins--in case of tie, pot will be split--U MUST submit your guess or change your guess before 9am the morning of the meet-- official count will be at 4pm before the appearance awards are given out--official car count will include any and all thirdgens that come and go throughtout the day (will NOT include any cars showing up afterwards or at the drag strip later that night).

We are also gonna have a 50/50 drawing. I'm sure most of U are familiar with these. We will sell tickets--1.00 each--tear them in half--drop in a hat or whatever-- draw a ticket stub around 4pm--whoever has the matching number, wins 50% of whatever was collected in ticket sales.

The remaining 50% will go towards paying for the awards/plaques that we will be awarding for the appearance catagories and the performance catagories at the drag strip.

Kevin89Formula has donated these awards the last couple big meets we had as well as donating to the Spring Fling. Even though he enjoys doing it, he should not have to carry the burden of supplying the awards as well as the engraving.
I also want to encourage any of U out there that if/when U ever have a need for his companies services, Please remember his generosity in supplying the awards and please consider throwing some business his direction.

If there is any money left over after paying him back, the rest will be used for any incidentals, that might be incurred in putting the 2006 Spring Fling together, and if there is still any left after that, it will go into a fund, to be set aside, and to be used for the next big meet.
