CAN ANYBODY GIVE SUGESTIONS ABOUT GOTTING SPARK TO THE COIL ALREADY CHECKED THE CONTROL MODULE AND IT WORKS AND HAS A VATS SYSTYM DONT THINK THERES NOTHIN WRONG WITH IT (HOW CAN U TEST SYSTEM) THE IGNITION SWITCH IS GOOD OR BAD I DOUNT KNOW PLEASE HELP ME THIS IS BEN GOING ON FORE A LONG TIME IT STARTS WHEN IT WANTS TO

I know nothing about LT-1's. U might want to post this question on the LT-1 tech board. Good Luck!

Getting spark AT the coil, but not to the plugs?

Sounds like your distributor went out...mine did the same thing.

That is assuming you just put LT1 in the description and have an LB9/L98

yeah if you checked the control module then you would have had to take the cap off
but yeah sounds like a distributor problem, i would go to auto zone and buy the hayness manule and rent a meter tester thing (thats the technical term) in the book it tells you how to test the parts on the car so you can narow your search down
i had the same problem with my 88 and i tested the coil it was good and new
then i tested the powers going to the coil, they worked fine
then i took the control module up to auto zone and it tested fine
and i had a brande new cap and rotor on, so i just bought a new distributor because when i tested the module as the motor turned over i got nothing
i think the contact points just wore out.

but if you have an LT1 heck if i know whats going on
if its out of a 96 or newer car the computer should tell you what is wrong
