Buy my car?
Although I still occasionally enjoy taking the car out, I just don't have the same interest I used to. Im really thinking that I should just sell it and let someone else get the full enjoyment of the car. Besides my new, beautiful young wife needs a better car than a junky old 2000 Cavalier.
I bought the car for $5500 about 4 or 5 years ago with 79xxx miles on it. It now has 90xxx or so. If you know the car it is not a good daily drive (TH350 transmission, no AC). AC could easily be put back in, just buy a compressor and hook it up, put in Freon.
I paid 5500 and probably put 10K into it, Id take 5500 cash right now. Thought Id let the Houston guys have first crack at it.
Let me know

Hi Larry,
I know eactly what you mean. I haven't driven my Camaro for a while and toyed with the idea of selling it. I have two other projects I'm working on and have been spending a lot of time on another forum. Still when I do take the car out I have a big smile on my face.

Hi Alex. Yeah, it seems like it is just taking up space in the garage sometimes. I put a fridge in there with beer and gatoraid and stuff and I have to move the frikin Firebird every day like two feet out to be able to open the door, then put it back in at night.
I bet you wife would love to drive an arrest-me-red hot rod Firebird.

I wish, I'm just about to paint the 1950 Chevy I have, then after that I have a 64 Mg Midget waiting to be put back together and hopefully I have just sold a 54 Chevy truck that is blocking everything in (including the camaro). Good luck with the sale of your car, someone will be getting a great deal.

Man, you will need a real third gen enthusiest nowadays to buy for more than 3k. These damn LS1 camaros are going from 3500$-5500$ even more often, if someone is just looking for a manual camaro or just a newer F car they are coming so more readily available, it is actually happening WAY faster than i thought.
Just hope your ride finds a deserving home if you do get rid of it.

Larry,
I would buy the car but I'd rather get a red guitar. Email me so we can talk. Hopefully you've been practicing.
Best,
Joey

Re: Buy my car?
I put it on the cars for sale board on here a few days ago, no responses yet. I saw some cars not as good for more, and some better for less, so I guess it really depends on finding someone who is a thirdgen enthusiast who doesn't need a daily driver. It would be easy to put the AC back on,but the problem would still be the TH350 not being practical on the freeway.
Let's see what happens
