my slug. aka TOXIC Z.
still refining it. based on the measurements ive come across. im thinking of going twins. or "truck manifolds" tubular headers.
this manifold, version c5 cranking out 600+rw with tnetics t76. it works fine and uses 2.5 xover. and 3.25dp.38mm wg and stock 98-02 fbody manifold for driver side. but gonna start out with this setup to calibrate my fuel and ignition.going carb blow thru. but have option to run either.

Need you guys to post up a link to the best push rods for my tpi 350 with roller cam and lifters... stock ones are kinda out of shape and i figured it best to change them all rather than just one or two... isn't there also a way i will need to break them in?

Just get a set of Comp Cams hardened pushrods for a stock 1991 350ci from Summit. They aren't that expensive and there is no procedure necessary to break them in (you have a hyd. roller motor).
ordered today... be here by wednesday... car prob not going to the meet... i have drive train issues... i'll be there though n i'm sure you all would rather see the car then me but deal with it... lol

I don't see your car anywhere in that picture, way to jack the thread Zane.
No, really awesome pic, I'm just jealous that even if my car was ready to run it can still only leave one black mark. & prolly not even half as long.
Jupiter.... man you car has come a long way since I first met you at ottos. Can't wait to see it. Did you ever get the stance right?
Well that pic was taken yesterday after i got some Nitto 285/40/17 NT555.
It sits WAY better then it did when you saw it. You will see many changes
at the car meet. Am looking forward to see you and your car there.
P.S. ooh and i was showing off the tail lights to. They have been polished and
smoked with VHT Night Shades.
So... I've done some clean up on the rear end since mine was going bad and i replaced it with a used 9 bolt... New slotted and drilled rotors and stainless steel brake lines.... all parts blasted and repainted and tomorrow completely reinstalled.. I'll post up some pics when its all in there not to mention i bought a bypass pulley for the smog pump...

Anyway guys, theres the bird, and those are the hopes and goals. Am I crazy? Time will tell. I really want to get some pics of this car and a Black and gold IROC Z together. See you soon at future shows.

Koni Shocks/Struts, 706 lb/in 2" drop front springs, 2" drop rear springs, 2" drop spindles, PST polygraphite front end bushings, 1 1/8" swaybar, 1" rear swaybar. BFG Rubber.
Eventually the car will have Wilwood brakes at all 4 corners w/ 17X9 wheels and 275/40/17 at all 4, a Ford 9" axle with 3.55, and a Whipple supercharger. I am looking to enter it into the Big Bend Open Road Race, 160mph class.
The engine is nearly finished, I just need a few more accessories. My wifes firebird KILLED my Monte budget though, so it might be a few more months before we take this out to shows. Until then, we have her Firebird.

Ok, last post and then I will stop spamming the forums. My daily driver/parts hauler:
1992 Chevy S-10 It aint that pretty, point in fact, its kinda ugly. But its been a wonderfully reliable truck, and it keeps the mileage off the other cars.
@Dark Ember
Awesome Bird and Monte.
I have parts cars for both, if you need anything let me know... lol
I can think of a few things the Monte needs right now. A grey interior breadbox(the container infront of the shifter with the little door).
A power steering pump.
But like I said, all the $$ we had saved up was recently spent buying the firebird. So the monte buildup basically came to a screeching hault when we wiped out our bank account heh.
Glad to see you picked the formula, nice choice. I am a just a little partial to black formula's! Looking forward to seeing it sometime down the road.
Ok ya better add a stage 4 to your plan if you want to see 12's: heads, cam, lower intake
Not gonna get 12's without H/C. Well you could spray the piss out of it I guess.
I had 383, superam, afr heads, cam, long tubes..best was 12.60 if I remember right. that was with a 1.8 60' also.
anyway good luck with it , car looks clean.
Yopu are probably right on the 12's thing. That car aint getting heads and cam though. Just wanted it to be a little better than stock, but no need to get that crazy. I am looking foward to showing it to you in person. Thanks again for letting my wife look at yours in order to finalize her decision on what she wanted in an F-body.
I'm jealous, I have all the components needed to put a/c back in my camaro, but I don't know if I want to clutter up my engine bay considering I drive mostly from sunset to sunrise (I work nights).
ok solved my own question... found the orifice tube which was blown and tells me that my compressor is crap... so buying both of them new and waiting for them to come in. also bought a replacement hood latch and changed out my push rods and reset the rockers finally. Blurped the radiator and checked out some lighting issues. Found some other things to add to the list while trying to brying the list to zero... ugh seems like the more i touch her the more i have to do to her... ontop of all that i lost my damn camera...
