choke, vaccum secondaries, what are you looking for?
street/strip deal, id go with a quick fuel 750. bolt it on and go.
great carb for the money.

A 750 vacuum secondary would work great, i tune them so i dont need the choke, since you live down here you wont either. A 650 would be optimal really, but the decent 650 that is the 750 style is near impossible to find, i got REALLY lucky when i got mine. But the 750 is no problem. A bit over carbed but it is no biggie.

get one and i will rebuild it for you if you like man, you just need to help me clean it.
Just not needed on the street, my nastiest cars have vacuum secondary carbs, leave the mechanical carbs to the track use, i have one i swap on just for the track.

if you are looking for drivability, a double pumper can be just and smooth as anything when setup correctly.
have you tried either at the track? what type of mpg savings is there vs the carb you run at the track?

Well, the vacuum secondary pulls fuel as needed VS the mechanical dumping at WOT.
The power is there for me at the track because i build vac sec for the street from a base Holley and then my mechanical i built from scratch and has the higher flowing pro form main body and all the works, so it makes more power as it is a performance oriented piece VS stock modified with a choke horn and what not.
