Hello Texas
Well I would like to say hello to all my fellow 3rd gen lovers out here in Texas. My name is Justin. I am not new to the site, but I am however new to Texas. I just moved up here almost a year now when my wonderful wife wanted to move back home. So here we are, in a little town called Wall, right outside of San Angelo. If there are any other F-body owners close, hit me up I would like to get to know some more people around here. Well when I first joined this group, I had a 83 Z28, and because of an ex wife I had to sale her. So now I got rid of the wife and my new wife actually bought me the 92 RS Heritage Edition. She is a work in progress, but I welcome her to the family with open arms just like I have with my last 9 Camaro's. Here are a few pics.

Re: Hello Texas
I thought about doing a LS, but since it is a 25th annaversury Heritage Edition, I am going to keep it as stock (looking) as possible. I already have a 383 in the making, that way the only way someone will tell it is a different engine is by casting, and if you really know what to look for.

Re: Hello Texas
Well, that is if they open the hood, this stock 6.0 in my car traps 2 more MPH in the eighth than my old 383 did, that is 20 less cubes trapping higher with nothing but a cam and carb conversion. I gave up on spending more to go slower.

Re: Hello Texas
Well I got the parts in the car a few weeks ago, but she is back in the garage for some more work. I am not sure if the drive shaft is bent, or the u-joints are just really bad, but I have a horrible vibration. I also pulled the Intrax springs out and put in some stock springs from a WS6, just don't like how low she was. I am trying to get everything cleaned up and painted before going back on the car. The way I figure is that I have 5 more months to get as much done before the car has to be running so my wife and I can move to Abilene. I also started tucking some wires on the car, and remounting a few things to clean up the engine bay. I am trying to get most of the PITA things done before I go in for my back surgery hopefully sometime this month. I will try and post some more pics of the things I have done, but most of it is just cleaning and painting.

Re: Hello Texas
what's this Abilene talk? wall isn't big enough for you?
hope everything goes well with the surgery.
i'm thinking about trying to organize a local cruise in the spring. if you look around WTXRacing some, there are videos from previous cruises we've done. it's on youtube too...something like EC 2.5, or Eola Cruise 1. look around and you will find it.
if you are interested, let me know. i'm thinking about going to Lowake Steakhouse instead of Eola though...just a thought.

Re: Hello Texas
I am down to help out as much as I can, A cruise would be cool, so that way I will be able meet some new people around here.
We are moving to Abilene for my wife's school. ASU don't have what she is going for.
But let me know what I can do to help. And I will for sure check out those videos.

Re: Hello Texas
Well I am actually trying to sale her now, so if anyone is interested, let me know. I had my back surgery, and they think I may have to have another one because of how bad it is, and I cant get in or out of the car so I had to buy a truck.
