Florida Racing
Hey Guy! I am going to Florida shortly and I was looking for any places to go drag racing. Legal or not legal . I will be visiting the Daytona Beach area as well as Miami and Key West. Just wondering for some entertainment. Thanks

You might find it to be kinda dead,It's been pretty cold down here for the last week or so The street race scene in miami is pretty active,But unless you know somebody who knows what's up,It might be hard to get to any.

I just went to the Desoto Speedway last week and it was so busy I could only get 2 runs in.
It has been cold down here, but it makes my car happy! Also, cold is relative. 50* is pretty cold here, but for Illinois, I'm sure that's nothing.

OK cool. Will be in Florida during last week of March-Spring break. I know what ya mean by it being cold here in chicago. Damn. I'm gonna make some calls and look around. Let you know if I find anything in FL to those interested.

Actually, I take that back. It was 32* here this morning. That's the coldest weather I've been in in my entire life. (except for the freezer at work, -10* )

Hey jd13 Nice car. I live in South Pasco but work in Pinellas. I used to see a car identical to your IROC every morning. It was mint. Was it you? I would always see it on Edgewater Drive in Dunedin. The guy driving looked to be in his late 20s or early 30s.

That's the coldest!!! Wow. I've been at -50 degrees celsius (-53 fahrenheit) one day on a visit to Northern Quebec! Now that's cold! Forget the track, I'll bet that a lot of our cars wouldn't even want to start!

We used to do some good running here, but that damn **** car movie caused more crackdowns then it was worth. That, and then that kid killing his mom in Orlando really put a dent in racing for a while.
