A couple of us are leaving the Johnson City area around 6am friday. Plan on eating at either the Cracker Barrell at Morristown or Stawberry Plains. We will be meeting a few more at the GA welcome center around 9.

The Birmingham convoy is meeting at the Cracker Barrel in Leeds at 11am, eating lunch, and rolling out around noon. We should arrive in Atlanta around 3-4pm Friday afternoon. Anytime between then and lunch Sunday is good for me.
If you guys want to use my white car as a meeting point at the show, it's pretty easy to recognize. It's the clean white car with the pretty red stripe on the hood. If the hood's up, you'll notice the red-powdercoated TPI. I'll be parked with the BFBA.

Yea yea yea J has a nice Z blah blah, jk man I do love that car. It'll be nice to see it clean for a change
I don't even get out of class til like 6:30 and will probably roll into atl around 8 or so. Seeing as how I just started cleaning their will probably be alot of that still to do But really whenever... I'm easy to spot; big earrings, really blonde hair, and a red beard.. gunny, shannon, joe all should still be able to recognize me I hope. I'll probably be parked on the hill up near the ACFA. I know I'll recognize you guys' cars but you might wanna post pics for others so were easy to find. I should be the only grn/gry thirdgen there.
Oh *** is it really next weekend.. jebus

Done today - Vaccum, spot clean carpet, meguiars interior plastic stuff, lexol conditioner on the seats, washed the outside, sprayed down the motor, polished, and waxed the paint
Tommorow - polish and wax wheels, clean tires really good, polish my emblems, clean windows, and detail the motor
Hoping it will stay somewhat clean most of the week, I'll probably have to go back over everything real quick fri night/sat morning.. if it rains friday night I'm screwed
So you are bringing your teal RS, J? I've been wanting to see those LED tail lights for awhile
Anyways meeting up.. anyone up for diner or drinks sat night, or just meet up at the show or whatever. Up to you out of towners!

The RS is coming, but you're going to be disappointed. I was getting hassled a bit by the local cops so I put stock taillights back on her. They were bitching about the blackouts even though the LEDs were plenty bright.....and I can't really run them without the blackouts because that's the only thing covering the LEDs. So they're off until I find time to redesign them to make the fuzz happy.
The bastards.
Anyway, I think we'd be best served to just meet up Saturday at the show and figure out if we want to go to dinner or whatever. It stays simple that way.

Yeah the Sunday cruises were a mess this year. There was supposed to be one at 3, but it got moved up to like 10:30, and it seems like no one knew that until around 11. Then they tried to get another one together after lunch...I didn't make it because I was busy sticking a radiator in my RS. They usually do the cruises on Sunday because most of the guys have to have the cars there on Saturday to be judged for the show.
We should do a thirdgen thing on Saturday evening next year. That way the judging is over, it doesn't matter as much if you pick up a little road dirt, and it can involve dinner before the big Sat. night party. Plus we can stop at the store on the way back, to pick up "supplies."
Any of you guys know Atlanta well enough to lay out a route and destination? Preferably some place with a photogenic parking lot.
