Nice! I like what you did with the red on your ground fx.
That was at our F body event our mailing list group has each year at the Motorsports park.

That was the auto x portion, I would have done road course but funds weren't there, didn't have my LS brake swap going, and I had a strange mis going on at random.

New to this site, or any message board for that matter, but figured I'd see who else lives around here. Just traded my motorcycle for a third gen and I can tell I'm going to need some advice sooner or later. (Probobly sooner). Anyway I'm in Hattiesburg

Anthony I see that I have a iroc hood with louvers that you might want. Nice looking car for a starter you have there.

Thanks
When my budget picks up I may want to check that hood out, right now I'm still getting the basics done. Just swapped the alternator and the battery, having fist getting it to crank every now and then but I've about narrowed it down to a (sometimes) bad starter or an ignition switch. I did find where a hot wire off the solenoid rubbed the dipstick tube and burnt a hole in it so I moved the wires where they shouldn't be able to be touching anything but I'll have to wait until I jack it up to
look at it again.

Re: any mississippi peeps

Well I live in Everett, Washington currently but born an bred in Columbus, Mississippi. My dad's old 1989 iroc which is bright red was sold in Jackson then bought by someone in Sandersonville near meridian below Lauderdale county an apparently she's rolling around in Laurel.

So I might be heading down there to see if I can grab the old girl up 13yr after I last saw her!

Any of you might know any law enforcement down there that might help me? Thanks y'all!

Re: any mississippi peeps

It isn't showing my replies so hopefully this won't send three times, but I was trying to say I doubt any police around here would help find the car unless it was stolen and you knew where it was already. I do wish you luck tho, it would make a good story behind the car.

To be honest man actually when I joined here in 2010 I found a member who had a friend who was a cop who ran the VIN an found the car in Sandersonville. I called the guy an told him the Vin an he confirmed it was the car an I told him that the car had 154,000 miles on it an I told him that I wanted to buy it.

He calls me back the next day wanting $6000 for a car that had nothing or barely anything done to it in 8yrs at the time in 2010. I even showed him the car had 154,000miles with the paper work my dad had on the car getting it serviced at Carl Hogan Chevy in Columbus.

But the stupid idiot wanted to say oh I bought it knowing it had 54,000miles an I told the guy shut up dude here's the miles it rolled over in July of 1997 an I got into an argument with him an hung up cause he was just a complete typical guy taking advantage of the situation. I even found out how much he bought the car for in 2004 when it was wholesaled from Blackwell dodge in Jackson. Later on after that I found the stupid guy tried selling the car on Ebay with a reserve that was never hit an it had a highest bid of $3000.

But we fast forward to today an I work at a GM dealership an I have access to all the car fax an general motors logs an I remembered the Vin from memory an found the car again!!! But this time in Laurel which apparently the stupid idiot guy sold the car eventually a year ago an here we are.

I have a title number so maybe that might help.

Re: any mississippi peeps

Hmm, if you do find someone who can locate it I wouldn't mind driving by and asking about it or taking some pictures for you if I'm able to at that time. Since you live so far away
