jet coating headers

I'm going to be getting some edelbrock headers for my camaro and was wondering since i have to get the jet coated who does the best job for the best price. I live in Mississippi and there isnt any real big performance places around here, so i guess I'll have to send them off. thanks for your suggestions.

Almost 2 years ago I had my Edelbrock headers JET coated. At that time JET had two (or more) locations. One was in Pennsylvania (I think) and the other was Pascagoula, Mississippi. My headers went to Mississippi. Since that time, I found out you can order headers already coated from JET.

Why is getting ur headers coated a waste of money?

Well, if you ever have to tune your car, you can conisder the jet hot coating bye bye.

One Lean run, its over. 1 time your timings not set right, its over. One bad tuning experience, its over.

I got it done and had to set my timing on my motor to see what itd be best to run at, and i ran it lean for about 10 seconds and it was gone.

Its great for a show car, but not on a drag car.

What are you talking about by it's gone, it's over, it's gone, it's over?
This coating can withstand 2000 degree Farenheight, so you mean to tell me that your exhaust was that hot that it melted the coating or what?
