well kwik and i were there... kwik brought a couple friends with him. his car is sweeeeettttt!!!!!!!!!!!!! so the count was kwik in his 4th gen his buddy brought a 4th and a c5 vette and then you had my t/a... but noone one else made it. hey kev, we'll catch you at the next one man... willie too. i know joe was stuck at the base. i think that we are getting better though. at least there were 4 cars this time. so we have been adding atleast one per get together. until next time gents.

I didn't get out there till almost 4:00pm, of course no one was still there. that's ok i know kwik and vagabond were in a hurry. didn't get a chance to talk to kwik, his car is very nice. 4 pt roll cage, supercharger, what more could a man want. talked to vagabond, older guy with the pimped out c5 and lt1 maro, nice fella lives out in ocala, talked about power tour, he took his maro on. lota driving but sounds fun! day started with me helping nieghbor time his new 350, put a lunati voodoo in it, he said it was mild, but i think he got lopy. a little gas fire and some coffee. some how fuel line got melted and FIRE! oh well, then got busy drinking margarita's at clancy's beach side. but hey, not evryday is perfect.

i am taking it first thing in the morning... black cherry effect!!! and getting the windows tinted at the same time. $311 for both together. keeping the hood even though it is a little warped BUT... i will be in the market for a ram air hood II after a few more items yet to buy... carpet and weatherstripping and i am still looking for some way to purchase or recover my door panels. i am trying to set more of the car to right before the hood though. i did find a ram air hood for like $500 though. now if we ever get the government rebate checks in may or june like they say then i may be in business for a hood. i can get the paint shop to paint match before i install. so not a big deal there. i will get my car back on tuesday after work.

when we getting together again fellas... soundoff when you have weekends off. i have every weekend off. so lets all figure out when we meet again. ohh. btw where i am getting the car painted is having this deal going on til the end of march. $175 for a 2 year gaurantee. econo's on mason near the train tracks. window tint is only $110 thats what i am doing. you pick the color you want out of their book. if you go just dont pick my color... lol

now i can see every flaw on the car so i will know what needs more sanding and what needs to be popped out. i will get up some pics sooner or later. you will beable to see it at the next meet. the spots where i over sprayed the primer shows in my paint job. they said since i did the primer work to it they could not do additional body work since they would not know what they were dealing with. but it isn't the best but i take some blame. at least it isnt primer anymore. i figure i have until i buy the hood to smooth it out and have them do the touch up work. i love the color. black cherry tint in direct sunlight. solid black at night and in the shade. very nice. and the windows are tinted so no ac and cant put down the windows til saturday.

originally white then someone painted it red then someone painted it yellow with black racing stripes and now i had it painted black cherry effect. 29th maybe good. dont know where to bbq though my grill dont go portable. i got a big 4 burner gas grill.

well fellas anyone else going to so up to our march 29th event where ever we may have it to have a hot dog or something? hey will, i was thinking (scary i know) there are places along the river with bbq grills that we could use would just have to decide on one place. or not far from walmart there is a park with a lake and restrooms and grills i think. on nova. just south of reed canal or just north of reed canal. hey joe can you check and see if you know which one i am talking about? lets get this thing going huh?!

I know theres a park on the river right off of Big Tree if thats the one you are talking about. I believe there are facilities and grill. Its the one with a boat ramp if its the same one we are thinking of.

i think i know of the one on big tree but there is one on nova as well they just built a small stripmall to the north of this park. there is a walking lane all the way around it. and a white fence to the south. it is on the eastside nova

FYI this weekend is the Spring Show at Daytona Speedway....

I have evening plans, but may swing out if early enough. I will be sporting the Avalanche, but would like to see some more of your cars!!!!

Thanks for the kind words of mine! It actually has a 6 point roll bar, and currently getting ZR1's with 315/35-17 Nitto DR's in back and 275/40-17 in front. Will be getting tuned next wednesday, so I will finally be able to quote a HP number..... I am hoping for 475 hp, but will be satisfied with above 450. I made 407 with 5psi, stock cam and stock intake. Now has LS6 intake, TR Blower Cam, and 6.5-7 psi. Car is fun, but the amount of money I have spent in the last 18 months is disgusting......but a blast!!!

funny, i haven't recieved any posts from here since my last, post. yeah sounds like wally's gettin some 3rd gens. let's make some guesses at kwiks new hp on dyno pull. i'll go first. ls6 intake 10-16hp, thunder racing blower cam not sure but i'd say at least another 10-12hp, 6.5-7 lbs boost another small net like 8-12 hp my guess 447 hp yehaw!

I never get notifications but I just check the thread everytime I get on. We will own Wally World soon and all be millionaire. Its going to be sweet.

Its going to be different seeing your car painted. Mine will need a job in the next 2 years. Everytime I clean it it looks worse and worse. I think they only put on one thin clear coat.

i am still going to have to get it repainted again when i get the hood i want. so i have till then to finish the extra body work. and finish smoothing. but it looks so much nicer. and if the sun is bright then you will see the deep deep red look that comes out. i got a polycrystalline paint so no clear this time. next time i will go all out though. i would say for you to go ahead and get the side markers it will only improve the looks and maybe add as much horsepower as ... bumperstickers. lol.

as far as the power goes i am going to get one of though 2 piece cold air intakes from ebay. they are chromed out and no kinks in the bends. i just dont remamber if they come with an air filter or not...

anyone else wanna guess hp #'s ? My car has that Dale Earnhardt dealership emblem on it, gotta be worth some hp. The spring show on saturday will have a few 3rd gens for sale. Saw 3rd gen pontiac, bad quality pic, 3k, car look'd good shape, aftermarket older style wheels. Maybe even decent swape meet going on.
