This is a must attend event. I went to G-12 as a spectator and got to participate in G-13 and actually won my class. If you are within easy driving distance and you love F-body cars then mark this on your calendar. G-14 is going to have some sort of poker run/treasure hunt event as well as a big cruise to the varsity downtown. It is a great 3 day event and you dont have to hang around. Drop off the car walk around and go see some of the sites Atlanta has to offer. Last year it was highly inendated with fourth gens but the third gens were out. Hopefully there will be a better mix next year.
Every year has been heavily inundated with 4th gens! I went to FBG 7, 9, 10. There are very few 2nd gens and 4th gens. The only 1st gens are the local ones and a few trailered in from surrounding states. Most of the people there have driven their cars and the 4th gens seem to be the ones driven. I probably won't be back for awhile as it hasn't changed much and is a long drive from Orlando.
If I had a third gen as nice as the one in your signature i'd show it off at a event like the FBG. I've only been to two of them so maybe i'm not burned out yet. Orlando is a haul for a event this size. Last year I was there with a club so it was nice to sit around and shoot the chit with folk you chat with online all year. They are throwing in the poker run/treasure hunt this year to spice things up. Hopefully it will all be safe so it too can become a part of the FBG for years to come.
this year we actually need to do something to show that we are TGO members, or set up a time for all TGO'es to meet up like in the bar or pool area, that way we can all meet each other and welcome new FBG's
Hmmm, I really want to come hang around but not likely participate as my camaro is not really anything special...Yet. Tho it would be cool to eat at the Varsity drive-in in my Camaro surrounded by f-bodies plus a cool picture moment! Guess we will see how much I get done on the car between now and May.
As for the car gens I do believe there would be more 4thgens just as I see more 4thgen then any other on the road but I think there will be a surprisingly large amount of 5thgens (I have at less 7 in my area), if the owners know about the event.

I will definately be there again this year. I have already talked with "the man" and we are set up for a thirdgen.org section next year. You just have to enter thirdgen.org in the group section when you sign up. So as long as someone besides me does it, were good to go

Well, my vote is GM above anything... But all jokes aside, just come, and be a part of it, no matter what. Incedentally, the Varsity Cruise has since morphed to a Lunch cruise to Joe's Crab Shack at Town Center, but regardless... Check out the info on the Gathering Homepage. See ya in 10 days!!!
