Central Florida Engine Shop Help???
I have a 91 Camaro vert with a 350 that is oil fouling a plug. Have not done a compression check yet but I’m looking for a good engine shop/mechanic to get it back on the road. From what Im getting the way to go would most likely be to get a long block and go from there. I am starting a full time masters program in a week and don’t have the time to do it myself.
My goal is to have a reliable engine that’s not worse on gas for the next three years while Im in school then work on doing an LSx swap when money is not as much of a concern. I also have all the parts from Ed Miller to put my corvette red calipers and corvette wheels on along with a 00 SS Camaro rear end with 3.42 gears.
I live in Lakeland and the car is currently in Auburndale. Looking for a shop between tampa/Orlando that you would personally recommend and maybe has even done work on your thirdgen. Also any suggestions on where to get a good long block?
Thanks, Sean
