Anybody know of a good place to get tint or an alarm installed in mesa or the surrounding area? I'm wanting to get an alarm with a pager and and possibly darker tint on the side windows. I want some place that does good work, no hack job crap.
Any recommendations. Thanks.

Ultimate did the CD install on my Trans Am. I thought they did a good job.

What ever you do, avoid Audio Express, home of the $1 dash fire. I've had 2 friends lose their cars to dash fires after having stereos installed by them.

I paid AZ Power and Sound approx. $300 for my remote start pager alarm, installed.

Couldn't even touch the alarm for that price anywhere.

Custom install, soldered everything that would have even remotely needed it. Strong recommendation.

I had one of the best tint jobs I've ever had @ the Cobblestone Car Wash in N. Scottsdale @ Frank Lloyd Wright & 101 Freeway. There's a southern dude there.. can't remember his name for the life of me. He used to teach folks how to do one piece rear hatches on 3rd Gens.

I would recommend them to ANYONE. They do incredible work and tinted my whole car for $130.

no.. I'd removed it myself out of boredom one weekend. Good thing to do though; saved a few $$$.

There's stuff sold @ WalMart called "Tint Off" that works great.

i know a guy that is a wholesaler, and also does installs. he did mine. two way pager,remote start, all that good stuff.

for tint, the dealership i work at uses randy window tint. they do good work,charge around 100 - 160

Thanks for all the recommendations guys. I have another couple questions here. I already have an alarm but was looking into getting a two way pager alarm, are those worth it? That way I have some sort of notice if someone is messing with the car and I'm not relying on hearing it.

Also has anyone, or is it even legal to tint the front windshield? I'm not talking dark or anything, I'm thinking like 30-35% or something, which is pretty light. I know a lot of windshields come tinted from the factory but thats actually in the glass. I just want something to block out a little bit more of the heat. An old friend of mine that did tint back home had a dakota with the windshield tinted and it was dark enough that you couldn't even see who was driving. While I don't think he ever got pulled over I don't want it like that. Let me know what you guys think.

If it's just the side windows it's too easy. I'd be willing to show you how. I did mine. The quality of the tint is really important. I got mine from Beaver Stripes & Molding. I think it's 3M, not positive though.
The back glass is a PITA. I need to redo mine. Should be easier this time, I have a heat gun.
